Q&A

What is a small group?
A small group is a voluntary, intentional gathering of three to twelve people. The purpose of this weekly group is to enable individuals to know God better and love him more through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

How long does a group meeting last?
A group meeting will typically last 75 to 90 minutes.

What takes place in a group meeting?
Groups spend time catching up with one another at the beginning, then move into a time of Bible study, and conclude in prayer together. Often groups enjoy serving together as well outside of the weekly group time.
So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NLT)

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts…”
Acts 2:46 (NIV)
Where do small groups meet?
Small groups meet in safe spaces that promote openness and discussion. People’s homes are ideal; however, some also meet at the church.

How much Bible knowledge do I need?
None. A small group is a safe place for individuals to learn and grow together through group discussion. People are at various points in their relationship with God and knowledge of the Bible, and we believe that is what makes the time together rich and enjoyable for all.
For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
Matthew 18:20 (NLT)
